January Newsletter 2025

A fresh NEW year full of goals and wishes is upon us. At FITZONE, the gift of health and wellness isn’t just about what you give yourself, it’s also about giving more of yourself to others. When we “Live in a Body That Feels Great” we have more energy and attention to share with others. Let’s make 2025 more about giving enough to ourselves that it directly impacts the lives of others as well. Help us – help you – help others so together we can make a difference in this world, one workout at a time!

Message from the owner:

Hello FITZONE family, as we embark on a new year, I want to take a moment to thank all of you, our members, for the support and loyalty you all continue to show FITZONE. The vision of a wellness center where everyone feels welcome and comfortable is what we set out to provide. I am confident that we have not only achieved that objective but raised the bar by offering outstanding customer service through our dedicated staff. 2025 will bring new equipment, new classes, and new opportunities for FITZONE and its members as we continue to grow. Insurance Members

January means a few changes for our insurance members. Make sure you check with your insurance companies to make sure nothing has changed with your policy. New policy or fitness ID number? Make sure you bring those in so we can update your account.

If your insurance covers a gym membership, we are excited to say it will cover the full cost of our ESSENTIAL membership. Want to take classes? No problem, enjoy unlimited classes by upgrading your ESSENTIAL INSURANCE membership to our ELITE INSURANCE membership for only $10 a month!

If you have any questions, please stop by the front desk and we will answer those for you.

G-Fit Class Registration

Want to take one of our amazing classes? Please remember to pre-register for any class you plan on taking. You can book classes through our FIT BY WIX app or on our website. See individual club locations for full details on their specific booking policy.

Power-X Squad Training

2024 was a great year for our Power-X program, and 2025 will be even better. Look out for the launch of this amazing program at our Pahrump Club as well as the expansion of it at our Prescott Valley Club. See our website for more details.

Assisted Stretching

Another exciting addition to several of our clubs is Assisted Stretching. This service will be added to our Personal Training program and will be available to our members through the purchase of affordable session packages.

Aiden Frye, Front Desk Lead, Pahrump NV.

Congratulations to Aiden from our Pahrump Club Crew. Aiden joined the team in October of 2023 and has shown incredible dedication and hard work during his time with us. Although he will be moving on with the military at the beginning of this year, we are very proud of the work he has done for us over the last year. He is always upbeat and strives to go above and beyond to help his fellow team members as well as our Pahrump members. Aiden will be missed as he moves forward in his life pursuits, and we are proud of everything he stands for. Thank you, Aiden, for everything you have done for the FITZONE family.

Welcome to 2025!

I want to talk to you about annual planning as we start the New Year. We do it here at the gym, and I’m sure you have an annual plan, too. It probably involves vacations, birthdays, major events with the kids, holiday gatherings, and maybe even financial stuff.

But do you have a personal annual plan for your fitness?

“Work out regularly all year” is an excellent general plan. It’s simple, and if you stick to it, you’ll be fit and healthy. But you can break it down with some specifics and milestones. If you do, you’ll have things to work toward and accomplishments to celebrate. You’ll also add a little variety to the year to keep things fresh. You might even inspire someone close to you to be more active! I’ll give you some ideas of things you might add to your annual plan for fitness:

  • Do four outdoor workouts in the month.

  • Work out X times per month to total X workouts in the quarter.

  • Plan a weekend outdoor adventure trip free of motors.

  • Hike a specific trail ( Like Summit Trail) with a friend.

  • Bring a friend who could use support to a workout. Let us know we will make it happen!

  • Teach a family member how to pick something up safely.

  • Try a new sport—like golf, swimming, archery, cycling or something else.

  • Try to achieve a 10,000-step monthly average.

  • Participate in a nutrition kickstart or talk to a nutrition coach about food goals.

  • Book a personal training session to work on a particular skill.

  • Sign up for a specialty program in an area of interest.

  • Participate in a local fitness event—either for fun or as a competitor.

  • Get a massage or consult a Physical Therapist to address a nagging issue.

  • Focus on rest, recovery, and stretching for 30 days straight and see what happens.

  • Cut alcohol for a month.

  • Add one extra workout a week for a month.

These are just a few things to get you thinking. I bet you can come up with great personalized activities to add to your “fitness calendar.” You can do this old school with a paper calendar tacked on the wall, or you can enter stuff on your phone or laptop. Use the system that works best for organizing your important dates and events.

Here’s my New Year’s request: Add four things to the calendar right now—one per quarter. Challenge yourself, the point is to get you thinking about a year of fitness and fun. I bet there’s something physical you’ve always thought of doing. Put it on the calendar!

Next, add this every 90 days: “Meet with a Trainer/Coach to talk about my goals.” In those meetings, I want to find out what else you’ve put on your calendar so we can help you make a plan to accomplish everything. If we connect every quarter, we will be up to speed and can offer you the most support. I’ll also be the first to high-five you when you hit a milestone or cross something off your list.

January is the time to make this plan. Get some stuff on your calendar, and let’s crush your goals this year!
